We hear so much about presence, about being present – but to be present requires becoming aware in such a way that we are present. It is not a goal that can be simply reached for off the shelf! In this all-levels 60-minute vinyasa class, we use the processes offered from the landscape of Ayurveda – the Gunas (collection of 20 opposite qualities) to observe how to maintain attention and make active choices. We also explore how the environment affects action – the breath/body/mind are always pulling on each other. In this class, we learn how to see these pullings and become able to hold these contrasting experiences. This increases our presence and resilience!
