Ayurvedic Wellness Consultation

Oftentimes, we are aware of certain levels of discomfort, but it is not enough to provoke great change. These kinds of discomforts can often lead to larger issues months or years down the road. Ayurveda serves to unearth the habitual, dietary, and psychological factors that can disturb the body and mind over time leading to future complication.

In our sessions together, we will review current habits and lifestyle patterns and relate them to desired goals – of body and mind health, general living, work, and creativity to name a few. Together we will build practices of activity (and inactivity), cooking and food choice, thought patterns and if necessary, herbal remedies, to restore the mind/body complex to its natural state of harmony.

Initial Session will take up to an hour and a half. First meeting includes one follow-up session. Future session will be schedule as needed to build and fine tune the program.

This program is best for the person who feels ready to make immediate lifestyle adjustments motivated by their own deep need for change.

Meeting Sera has been one beautiful Universal synchronicity. I chanced upon her Ayurvedic Yoga community class and found her teachings straightforward, grounded and extremely meditative. From that one class and Será’s wonderful guidance, I got over my fear of yoga (old Ashtanga injury 10 years back) and I found my way back to the mat and to my yoga asana practice. Words cannot truly express how grateful I am to Sera for changing my approach towards yoga.

Her focus on prana, vector mechanics and developing one’s own Inner Wisdom to experience a sattvic (balanced) practice every moment is completely life changing. I feel better educated and empowered to transform every asana practice into a meditative and potentially self-realized one. Most importantly, her blend of Ayurvedic Wisdom with Classical Yoga Theory has enabled me (and others in the class) to better understand our minds, bodies and spirit. For 14 days straight, I never once tore a muscle, over stretched myself or caused any hip/back injuries from over-extending myself.

Sera as a teacher is meticulous, warm, funny, patient and methodical in her approach. Her step-by-step Guidance and instructions enable even a novice like me, to truly grasp the intricacies and nuances of yoga and Ayurveda. I loved every moment of her class. In 10 days, I will take my 200 hour YTT – and I am so grateful that I got to learn with Sera before I do. She’s helped me create a stable and healthy alignment with a healthier approach towards my yoga practice. I believe studying with Sera will provide me a wonderful foundation for my upcoming YTT.

14 days in Será’s Ayurvedic Yoga Immersion seemed to breeze by – and I believe, that, is a sign of a really great class.

Yoga becomes more important as the world gets harder and has become an essential part of my life. It helps me answer the question, “who am I and who can I become in this moment?” Yoga has helped me cultivate a stronger mind, body, and purpose. I wanted to get my yoga teacher training so that I could offer this opportunity to the community. Sera’s classes are rooted in the ancient truths of yoga that build a strong foundation for any type of yoga practice. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to learn from her and I’m excited that others will be able to share in this opportunity with this upcoming class.

The lessons you learn throughout this experience really transcend physical ability, they focus on giving you a solid foundation of knowledge that you will be able to apply to every asana, to almost all types of yoga, as well as to your life off the mat and out in the world.

The program has had a profound positive impact on my life. Sera is brilliant, and she has invested so much into her own education as well as into the service of others. She can translate what might initially be a very intimidating body of knowledge into a framework of understanding that will change the way you perceive the world. Khristine’s amazing and insightful approach helps you to realize the limitations you may be setting on yourself, and how to cultivate compassion for yourself as well as for others.

This is an opportunity to learn to live with intention and conscious action rather than constantly reacting to your environment, and to feel the transformative power that Ayurveda, Pranayama, Asana and a simple awareness of the 8 Limbed Path can afford. I feel confident creating sequences, making adjustments, learning to adapt and constantly evolving as my understanding and practice changes and grows.

There is always more to learn, to master, and I find that the longer I teach the more the lessons continue to sink in, to make sense in new and different ways. I left the program fairly confident as a teacher but with the humble awareness that my yoga path was only just beginning. It’s a beautiful journey to be on and I highly recommend setting any misgivings aside and diving in, the chance to develop your practice alone makes it worth every penny.

I contacted Sera when I was having health issues that alluded my doctor. I had a sense that my issues were not something that could be solved simply with medication or time. My health issues were low-grade but chronic, and were really starting to get me down. After our first consultation, Sera gave me a detailed plan of action that adjusted my daily routine, gave instructions for a short term cleanse, as well as more long-term lifestyle changes. Sera met me where I was at and worked with me in a very personal way. She is an exceptionally skilled listener, and attended to all the details of my story with great care. She draws extensive knowledge from multiple traditions and explained the logics behind her recommendations with depth and clarity. Eighteen months later, we still check in and I continue to follow her recommended plan! Best of all, my consultations with Sera have helped me develop awareness of my body and behaviors in a way that supports true health. I am deeply grateful

I am so grateful that I was given the opportunity to reconnect with Sera. She is an excellent teacher and guide. I highly recommend her services. By the time I scheduled my consultation with Sarra, I was sick and tired of feeling sick and tired. It sounds cliché; however, that is exactly where I was at that point. I was exhausted, overweight, depressed, and becoming hopeless. I had taken classes and workshops with Sarra before and I had layman’s understanding of Ayurveda. I felt flickers of awareness and understand during her first workshop, Ego Identity from an Ayurvedic Perspective. Consequently, I booked an appointment with her to discuss how Ayurveda could help me regain my health.
During our time together, Sera listened to my long-list of ailments and asked insightful questions. Not once did I feel hurried or dismissed. From this diagnostic meeting, she put together a plan to address the root cause of my issues. What’s more, she provided me with additional resources to help me better understand what was happening to me and how this plan would aid in my efforts. I left our meeting feeling hopeful and ready for a fresh start.

Sera is a kind and caring practitioner. She checked up on me frequently, and never made feel bad when I slipped up. She has offered me as much support as I need and has been quite accommodating with my hectic schedule. I like that Sarra is kind and firm; she does not mince words. She says what needs to be said in an open and honest manner without being bully or a pushover. She is knowledgeable and experienced in the science of Ayurveda. I recognize her knowledge and experience as I have attended other Ayurvedic-focused yoga teacher trainings (YTT) and workshops hosted by yogis claiming to be well-versed in this practice. These experiences with other teachers initially led me to dismiss Ayurveda. However, listening to Sera speak during classes and workshops convinced me that perhaps it was not the system that was the problem, but the person instructing it.

In other words, Sera is a specialist, who took the time and effort to learn her field; whereas the others read from a book or a website, or perhaps regurgitated what they learned in their YTT. Each time I consult with Sera, I feel better. She works with me to modify my program as needed based on what’s happening in my life. Sarra recognizes that there is an ideal and there is real life and prescribes based on what is and is not doable. Working with her is one of the best health decisions I have made in a long time. I recommend her services to anyone seeking to improve their physical, spiritual and/or mental health.

Sera is a gifted teacher and healer and I am thankful to have her guidance.
